Mess With The Best, Die Like The Rest
Man, I just caught Hackers on TV. This movie made the internet cool… and the soundtrack? Vicious. It’s such a pain to get though… errr it was. It’s out of print. I actually had to hit Ebay for my copy of it, back in ’03. Out of print music wasn’t nearly as easy to find back then. I was using DC++ at that time. I remember checking so many hubs that I just quit and swallowed my pride. I figured I’d post the track that made me want it in the first place.
This track has everything you could ever want in Electronica. It’s Airy, ambient, has a danceable beat, beautiful uplifting female vocals, and a nice bass groove. You kinda wanna dance but at the same time you kinda wanna chill. My answer to this dilemma is basically just dancing with my eyes half open so I look really stoned. My eyes take in less light so my brain has to process less of what I’m seeing. It’s like an active chill. I like that.
