Zelda Meets Gangsta

I know that the title of this post might not seem plausible yet it’s true thanks to Team Teamwork. They have managed to put together some sick remixes using themes from Zelda. It’s quite clever. Hopefully they can find another game with bad ass music to mashup remixes with.

HAHA! YEAH!

So I was just chatting up with a friend on AIM, who will no doubt read this and know I’m referring to her, who said “Check Check Check Check it out!”. Instantly I thought of this remix. Yes, even before I did the original Beastie Boys song.

Sometime last summer Moonbug put together a vicious Mash-Up of that Otaku-Pop hotness, Capsule, Hip-Hop legends, The Beastie Boys, and The original Gods of the Dance Floor, Daft Punk. When I first heard it, I fell in love at how seamlessly it blended and how awesome it was. To be quite honest, I haven’t been able to ever listen to any of the original track on this song since. I’m putting a heavy recommendation stamp on this one.

Lorentz & M. Sakarias vs. Coldplay = TIghtness

If you checked out my Rye Rye post a few days ago, you got to hear what is no doubt one on my favourite remixes in the “Strawberry (Rapclash Remix)”. You may have noticed some really cool sounding Swedish guys on that track; that would be Lorentz and Sakarias, they’re sound is different, but definitely likable, not to mention the production on their tracks tends to be tight as hell.

Now, check them out over Coldplay.

FutureCop!

04/11/2009 at 9:50 pm (80s, Electro, Electropop, Mash-up, Soundtrack) (, )

They Say a picture is worth 1000 words. This time, they’re right. This is FutureCop! Imagine all the goodness of your favourite 80s movies soundtracks with cheesy guitar solos, elevated vocals, and heavy concentration on tonal sounds. Now, combine that with some up-lifting Electropop and you have this song. This is the perfect song to end a movie like the Breakfast Club with, and that’s what FutureCop! wants to hear.

The vocal track was actually taken from a song in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, possibly my favourite childhood film of all time. Well played FutureCop!. Well Played indeed.

Without further ado I give you:

FutureCop! – Transformers (In Time Edit)

It makes me feel like a kid again, and I like it.
